It is very funny to witness the favor of God. Every year, every Christmas, I must have at least this one song that inspire me to be the creative of Christmas event. Well, mostly I heard this song on a radio (last year) or in my hard disk (I don’t even know how the songs are in there most of the time). Then the song inspired me to write this story for Christmas drama or film or musical.
Last year I barely get inspired from a song until I wrote all the script and shoot this film. Then while on editing process, I heard this song from a radio and It clicked me.
This year, it will be more hectic since I still got a lot to prepare for this Christmas drama and this hand mime thing which is new for me. I was having a hard time to find a song for this hand mime for a fe weeks and finally today while on my way to gym, I saw this Mandisa’s Instagram which she endorsed Matthew West’s new Christmas album.
Honestly I am not a fans of Matthew West (that is why I haven’t followed his Instagram lol) and I was not too interested to find out about his Christmas song since it still October. But something inside me (Holy Spirit, of course) pushed me to preview his songs. ‘Unto Us’ was not the first or second song I previewed although the song is on the first number. But when I got to the song, I knew that it will make a good song banks in my hard disk which I could use later. A few minutes later I played this song and yeah, God work in a very mysterious yet planned way. I chose this song over some songs that I was not sure about to use.
‘Unto Us’ really made my day. Everything just flew right into me when I want to be creative for God. Of course God will open the way (it is all for Him though). I am so proud to witness his favor today and this Christmas offering will be one of the best service that will bless and guide people to be closer to Jesus. Stay tuned!
