Past

One thing I learn from the past is that they were not destroying us. They made us who we are today.

Think of the past as a rear view mirror which we occasionally look back at so we could anticipate the road ahead of us. However our past is one of God’s ways to form us as we are now.

And one more, every person has their own pasts. So it is better if we do not judge people carelessly from what we see. You never know what that person had been through, right? Respect and always see the best of someone. Forget the bad, focus on the value of the person from the eye of God.

Satu hal yang kupelajari dari masa lalu adalah mereka tidaklah menghancurkan kita. Mereka menjadikan kita menjadi diri kita sekarang.

Anggap masa lalu seperti kaca spion dimana kita hanya sesekali melihat ke belakang sehingga kita bisa mengantisipasi jalan ke depan. Bagaimanapun juga masa lalu adalah salah satu cara Tuhan membentuk diri kita seperti yang sekarang ini.

Dan satu lagi, setiap orang memiliki masa lalunya masing-masing. Jadi ada baiknya apabila kita tidak main men-judge seseorang hanya dari yang terlihatnya saja. You never know what that person had been through, right? Respect dan selalu lihat yang terbaik dari seseorang. Lupakan yang negatif, fokus kepada nilai orang tersebut di mata Tuhan.
